SparKo is made and supported by NateRo. One address for everything: questions, bug reports, lost keys, billing.
We usually reply within a day. For bug reports, attach %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\nateRo\SparKo\Player.log and say which version you run (Settings shows it). Lost your license key? Use the recovery page first; it emails your keys straight away.
Trial first, then buy
Every copy of SparKo includes a free 14-day trial of the Pro features. The trial is exactly the same software as SparKo Pro, so please use it to make sure Pro works with your amp and your computer before you buy. Pro is a one-time purchase, and the trial is there so that nobody has to pay to find out.
If something is not working after you have bought Pro, email the support address above with what is going wrong and your order email address or Stripe receipt number. We read every message and will work with you to put it right. The same goes for a double or mistaken charge. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Privacy
Last updated 29 September 2026. The short version: your tones and your keys stay on your computer.
What the app sends
- License checks. When you activate or every two weeks afterwards, SparKo sends your license key and an anonymous hardware fingerprint (a hash, not your hardware IDs) to our license service so the activation limit can be enforced. The computer name you see in the license screen is sent so you can recognize activations.
- AI requests. If you use AI tone generation, your prompt is sent directly from your computer to the AI provider you chose, using your own API key. We never see it.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no crash reports unless a future version asks you first, no tone data leaves your machine.
What stays local
Your tone library, tags, setlists, API keys and license token are files in the SparKo folder on your computer. Deleting the folder deletes them.
Purchases
This policy is published by NateRo, the operator of sparko-app.com and maker of SparKo. Payments are handled by Stripe, who collect the card details needed to process your order under their own privacy policy; we never see your card number. We receive your email address and order reference so we can issue and support your license.

SparKo is made and sold by NateRo ("we", "us"), the operator of sparko-app.com. These terms are an agreement between you and NateRo.
The software
SparKo is a Windows application for organizing and sending guitar amp tones to Positive Grid Spark amps. The free edition may be used without charge. SparKo Pro is a paid license that unlocks additional features described on the product page.
License
A SparKo Pro license permits one person to activate the software on up to two computers they own or control. The license is personal and may not be shared, resold or published. We may revoke keys that are shared publicly or obtained fraudulently.
The purchase includes updates for 12 months. Versions released during that period remain usable indefinitely. Later major versions may require an upgrade purchase.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf; NateRo is the seller. Prices are in US dollars and any applicable sales tax or VAT is shown at checkout. Your card statement will show NATERO. Questions about a payment: contact support.
Compatibility
SparKo communicates with Spark amps over Bluetooth using a community-documented protocol. Positive Grid may change their amps or apps at any time. Amp support is provided on a best-effort basis and we will make reasonable efforts to keep it working, but cannot guarantee compatibility with future firmware.
Which amps: the Spark 2 and Spark GO are play-tested; the Spark 40 and Mini should behave like the GO but are untested. Spark GO support was paused from 13 to 16 Oct 2026 while a preset-read fault was found and fixed.
AI features
AI tone generation uses accounts and API keys you supply for third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and billed to you by them. SparKo does not proxy, store or resell those services.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from its use. Your statutory rights are not affected.
